PRESS RELEASES

We are looking forward to the 40th annual VIFF 2021 with much anticipation: to see some of the best Foreign and International Features and Documentaries produced during Covid 19

We will be posting a number of capsule and other reviews that we are fortunate to preview before and during the festival. 10 of the most current reviews will appear on this our home page. Older posts will be available by scrolling down the home page or on the right block menu under Past and Recent Blogs or any other tab selections

Every review header is linked to the actual film and ticket choices

————————

This year’s festival will be a hybrid of in- cinema screenings only at 8 theatres and the balance available on VIFF Connect
Capacity screening at all theatres will be around 1400 attendees based on 50% of seats available
Once again VIFF will have a variety of locations including the Civic theatres (The Playhouse and the Annex) and new additions such as the newly renovated Hollywood and for the first time an added location on the North Shore ( The Kay Meek Art Theatre)
