History of our involvement

Our society was formed in May 2014. 

We are pleased to have sponsored  international screenings as a community partner every year at VIFF  excepting in Covid 2019 .

We began reviewing films for VIFF in 2019, and continue to do so.

In 2017 our society began co-presenting films with VIFF which continued until Covid. We resumed the program in 2023 and 2024.

In  2023 we began offering promotions for VIFF in their year round programming. These promotions were discontinued in 2024. 

As the founder of our society I have had the pleasure of attending VIFF since 1986.
