The Vancouver Foreign Film Society (VFFS) is responsible for operating in compliance with the Motion Picture Act and Consumer Protection BC.
To attend our film screenings, you must be an annual Vancouver Foreign Film Club Society member or an affiliate society member such as a VIFF member.
Membership is by annual subscription and is limited to persons who are 18 years or over (19 years or over where a liquor license is available).
Only members are permitted to be present at a venue where a nonclassified film is being exhibited.
VFFS’ mandate is the encouragement and appreciation of motion pictures as a medium of art, information or education
Any Person attending a screening hosted by the Vancouver Foreign Film Society at a theatre (other than a co-presentation at the Vancouver International Film Centre-VIFF)must have a membership in our society
Co-Presentation screenings at the Vancouver International Centre require an Annual VIFF Membershipin place of a Vancouver Foeign Film Society Membership
