This film about Tsakani Motshweni is extremely hard to watch as he describes his difficult childhood and juvenile crime of shoplifting and gang violence, resulting in imprisonment more than once in juvenile prison. Younger than most of the other prisoners he was sexually abused as a form of silencing, to never report on any of the other gang members, and, what was done to him. He speaks openly about how he was treated after his release because of the stigma of sexual abuse and his healing journey and determination to fight to end the scourge, what is commonplace in these prisons.
A tough but engaging film, well narrated.
