Focus on Acadian film at this years’ festival

This fine film festival continues through Feb 14 with something for everyone. There are feature films from Quebec and from France. The program contains Animation, Documentary, Environmental, and Youth categories, including shorts. There’s a special spotlight section this year on Acadia. One of my favourite films is ACADIAN WAVE, which explores the stirring musical genre of Acadian music. While you’re watching it you will start with tapping your feet, but soon you find yourself bouncing out of your chair, spinning and whirling to this rousing music.
